The John Graham Centre commenced in 2004 and is a Day Service for adults who have a learning disability. The Centre is based on a small farm in Blean, just outside the Cathedral City of Canterbury, it is a family run business offering both indoor and outdoor activities.
From very small beginnings 17 years ago and with an abundance of enthusiasm plus a clear vision, the Centre has developed into the forward looking stimulating and motivating service that it is today, enabling adults with a learning disability to learn and achieve together, to be happy and for each person to be able to develop to their maximum potential.
ANIMAL CARE & GARDENING
We give our students the amazing opportunity to work closely with the animals to develop a valuable and rewarding bond. They get involved in planting and growing crops including flowers and vegetables, and planting up patio pots and hanging baskets.Find out more

ARTS & CRAFTS, COOKERY & MUSIC
We provide a variety of art and craft work, including sewing, knitting, quilting, knitting making bags, cushions and bead work. In cookery, we promote understanding of dietary requirements, a balanced diet, and understanding the importance of healthy foods. Music sets us free – it takes us out of ourselves and encourages us to relax.Find out more
